This facility involved the adaptive reuse of the historic Janesville High School. The property was given the 1999 Best Private Development Award
by the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council. The building was 100% completed in mid 1999 and is also now the home of the Janesville Performing Arts Center.

Stone House Development developed the Southwest Hall in 2005 and it opened in the fall of 2006.
The dorm consists of 376 beds. Stone House provided construction and permanent financing until the project was purchased by the state of Wisconsin.
